DETOXIFICATION

Detoxification is a widely used treatment and concept in alternative medicine. It is based on the fact that many diseases are exacerbated or even caused by the accumulation of toxic substances in the body. It has been demonstrated that certain detoxification techniques and substances can mitigate or resolve health issues by reducing or eliminating toxins in the body to allow healing to occur.

Detoxification has been shown to be helpful for those suffering from:

  • ALS
  • MS
  • Alzheimer’s
  • Cancer
  • Allergies
  • Anxiety
  • Arthritis
  • Asthma
  • Chronic Infections
  • Depression
  • Diabetes
  • Headaches

MICROBIAL CLEANSE

Microbial contamination is a cause of many diseases, and contributes by exacerbating many existing health issues. We know that the human body consists of more microbial cells than human cells. Most of these organisms have evolved with humans and are beneficial. The overwhelming number of bacteria are beneficial, but those that are pathogenic can become major problems when they proliferate. These become problems when the individual’s immune system becomes overwhelmed or is caught by surprise.

Many botanicals have anti microbial properties that plants have developed to survive microbial attacks, without them their species would not have survived. We humans can benefit from these same substances that plants have evolved to protect themselves.

Microorganisms can be categorized as: Viruses, Bacteria, Fungi, Parasites

MASSAGE THERAPY

Massage is an exchange of energies in which, through sliding, friction and kneading techniques, the circulatory, lymphatic, nervous and energetic systems are stimulated, which provide the body and mind with relaxation, combating physical and mental fatigue.

It has been demonstrated that massage aids with stress control, decreases anxiety, tension and muscle pain relief, improves blood circulation, skin elasticity along with your immune system. Massage therapy also decreases blood pressure in cases of hypersensitive patients.

  • Relief from headaches
  • Reduction of tiredness
  • Elimination of toxins & metabolic waste
  • Decrease in insomnia
  • Stimulation & balance of the intestinal system

ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture is a safe practice and its effectiveness has been increasingly studied, By applying fine needles to the correct meridians through the stimulation of specific points in the body, acupuncture can improve blood circulation, regulate the heartbeat and stimulate the natural defense mechanisms in the body. Can be used as a complementary treatment for various diseases such as gastritis, duodenal ulcers, rheumatoid arthritis, asthma and hormonal changes.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that allergies are caused because the reaction of the defense cells causes the body’s energy flow to accumulate, causing symptoms caused by rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny nose, and itching.

Acupuncture helps improve these symptoms by releasing accumulated energy and stimulating the immune system to function properly, as well as increasing the flow of the bloodstream. Often, as the person undergoes acupuncture sessions, it may reduce the need for the use of anti-allergy medications along with a decrease in chronic pain.

Many alternative strategies, including acupuncture have demonstrated that they are safe and effective at reducing pain and promoting relaxation and a feeling of well-being. One of the most used techniques for pain relief is auriculotherapy, which consists of applying needles in very precise regions of the ear.

YOGA

Regular practice improves all body systems: bone, muscle, skin, circulatory, nervous, digestive, respiratory, endocrine, excretory and even reproductive. one of yoga’s best-known and science-proven benefits is that it helps people become more flexible. Keeping joints, tendons and muscles flexible is critical to avoiding injuries and staying in shape.

For example, many people who suffer from arthritis find great relief from doing yoga. Pranayamas and simple postures can help you breathe more deeply and slowly. Improving lung function while increasing the amount of oxygen absorbed with each breath.

MEDITATION & VISUALIZATION

Meditation and visualization techniques are methods of picturing positive images, ideas, symbols, or using affirmations and mantras to help calm the mind while the body is in a relaxed state. For those familiar with meditation, the method replaces the focus on breathing with that of a mental image or visual circumstance.

When the focus of a meditation is an image, the meditation becomes visualization. Visualization is sometimes called mental imagery or mental rehearsal, so that you can visualize yourself in a setting, experiencing the impact of that setting on your body and mind.

According to Dr. Joe Dispenza,  visualization can help us reach our goals, since the brain does not distinguish the difference between reality and imagination. By visualizing images of healing and feeling healthy , the brain triggers a positive reaction in the body by way of changing the body chemistry.

Joe Dispenza: “We know that it takes a clear intention (a coherent brain) and an elevated emotion (a coherent heart) to begin to change a person’s biology from living in the past to living in the future. That combination of mind and body—of thoughts and feelings—also seems to influence matter. And that’s how you create reality. So if you’re going to truly believe in a future that you are imagining with all your heart, let’s make sure it’s open and fully activated. Why not, through practice and quantitative feedback, get good at doing it and make it a skill?
